Far away from the chaos, noise, and bustle of the city are sanctuaries of serenity, natural beauty, and simplicity.

Highlights from this hike:

1. Sea of clouds - this is common in the mountains located in Cordillera Region due to it's cold cold weather. We're so lucky to witness sea of clouds and Maligcong rice terraces at the same time.

2. Maligcong Rice Terraces - a spectacular rice terraces of Maligcong Village. One of the best viewed I've ever seen.

3. Guide Dog - They actually come with you during your hike. They are either dogs of the guide or dogs of the homestay. They wait for the hikers and show them the right way.

When you reached the summit early, the guide will prepare a bonfire for you to feel warmth while waiting for the sunrise.

How to get there:

1. Coming from Baguio, proceed to Slaughter House, Magsaysay Road and catch Rising Sun Bus leaving for Bontoc.

2. From Bontoc, one may catch a Jeepney going to Maligcong (Trips are scheduled). Or if there are many of you, you can rent an entire jeep.
